MCB ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES

As part of an effort to consolidate departmental resources, this project will provide a new home for the administrative functions supporting the Molecular and Cellular Biology department at Harvard. Co-locating the core administrative function, graduate and academic programs, finances, and graphic support in the heart of the department at the Biological Laboratories Building, the new space will provide private and shared office areas, as well as central meeting, break, and social spaces – all carefully integrated and highly visible to the science community within the building. Using glazing along corridors and branded departmental colors, the space creates a strong and inviting presence in a highly trafficked area, ensuring easy access and quick response to support the needs of the department as a whole. The project is anticipated to being construction in the fall of 2020 with completion in 2021.
